Selena Gomez knows HollywoodLife is full of it.

On Friday, the star said so herself.

A Gomez fan had shared a screenshot of a recent HollywoodLife story about the singer-actress, one of the countless stories about Gomez that HollywoodLife flat out made up.

Gossip Cop has been on HollywoodLife’s case for years, especially throughout this summer, when the webloid published a series of misleading, contradictory, and sometimes despicable pieces about Gomez.

On Friday, the fan posted an excerpt from one of the site’s recent articles, which pretends to have a “source” with insight into Gomez and Justin Bieber.

The fan’s caption read, “Hollywood Life is sh*t tbh. No matter if they say anything good or bad, it’s always lies… just my opinion (and a ton of other peoples) but they aren’t a reliable source.”

Gossip Cop agrees — and so did Gomez herself.

She commented on the Instagram post, “Hollywood life is never true. Ever.”

There you have it.

So whenever you see HollywoodLife running back-to-back-to-back stories about Gomez and her alleged feuds or relationship issues or anything else, just remember: Selena Gomez says HollywoodLife is never accurate.

Fans who care about accuracy instead of sensationalism should stick with Gossip Cop.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are having “reckless” unprotected sex and could soon be expecting a baby, claims OK! in a new story every bit as speculative and wrong as its previous recent, sloppy reporting about their love lives.

According to the magazine, “The two stars are determined to leave their once bright futures almost entirely up to chance.”

“Despite the fact that neither Selena nor Justin seem even remotely ready to be a parent, the pair are knowingly risking that outcome every single time they get together,” claims OK!

How so?

A so-called “insider” tells the outlet, “It’s a miracle they haven’t conceived three kids by now, because they don’t take any precautions.”

“There were rumors that she’d gotten pregnant and had a miscarriage a couple of years ago, but that doesn’t seem to have slowed them down,” explains the OK! source. “Instead, they think that not using protection proves how in love they are.”

Wait a minute — this “insider,” who supposedly is close enough to Bieber and Gomez that he or she supposedly knows whether their sex is protected, is basing his or her argument on a completely made-up miscarriage story?!

“To be clear, the pair aren’t exactly trying to make a baby,” writes the magazine. “But, the insider explains, they also wouldn’t be particularly upset if one came along — and have even talked about marrying if it happens.”

That sentence demonstrates just how out of its depth OK! is.

The magazine wants to tie Gomez and Bieber to a pregnancy and a marriage, but has no evidence whatsoever that either is going to happen — so we get empty blather like this.

“If she does get pregnant, it will be a disaster,” says the mag’s insider.

Not as disastrous as this story, which is yet more sensationalism from an outlet way too used to it.

A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the OK! report is “clueless” and “insulting.”

“Wedding bells are ringing” for Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, reports Life & Style.

According to a source for the magazine, “Justin has wanted to take Selena back to his native Canada and marry her. They already held a secret commitment ceremony in L.A. and exchanged Cartier promise rings!”

“Both their friends and family disapprove of their ‘commitment,’” a so-called “insider” tells Life & Style, going on to say that Gomez’s mother “screamed at her about the wedding.”

Because this is all made up, the magazine keeps drifting between an implication that Gomez and Bieber already had a “secret” ceremony and are planning to have a full “wedding” — providing no evidence whatsoever for either.

For good measure, Life & Style throws in a pregnancy rumor.

“According to a source, Selena’s already been telling friends that she and Justin want to have a baby,” reports the tabloid.

The mag’s source says, “Selena hopes to make a big announcement this fall.”

Of course, this is the same publication that falsely claimed Gomez’s family staged an “intervention” for her earlier this year.

Life & Style also wrongly alleged that Bieber proposed to Gomez over the summer.

Maybe it’s time for the tabloid to take a breather.

It’s “downright absurd,” a source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop exclusively regarding the “secret wedding” report.

HollywoodLife, which has lied about Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus for years, used the “Chelsea Lately” finale as an excuse to run a bogus story about the two stars being at war with each other.

Here’s what happened.

Chelsea Handler concluded her long E! talk show run on Tuesday with a celeb-filled farewell sing-along.

Gomez and Cyrus both took part in the event.

Because they happened to be standing three people apart for the song, HollywoodLife decided it means they’re feuding.

“They ended up having a SUPER awkward moment on live television!” shrieks the webloid, lying.

But there was no awkward moment.

There was… there was nothing controversial at ALL here.

Gomez and Cyrus weren’t standing next to each other.

That is literally the entire story.

But HollywoodLife, which spent recent months manufacturing a phony Gomez-Taylor Swift feud, apparently wants to drive traffic to its site by getting different fan bases riled up and hating each other.

Hence, this mess:

“Sorry, Selenators and Smilers — it looks like the battle rages on! That said, when Chelsea announced that she would be making a donation to Miley’s charity, My Friend’s Place, Selena did clap and smile for her old friend. Perhaps there’s still a chance for them?”

Seriously, what the hell does any of that even mean?

So their “battle” was raging on because they stood three people away from each other, but there’s a chance for reconciliation because Gomez clapped for Cyrus’ charity?

This is what happens when an outlet tries to write a story about a non-controversy, deciding beforehand to make it a controversy.

We’re guessing someone at HollywoodLife noticed that Gomez and Cyrus were at Handler’s finale — and told someone else to find a way of making it seem like there was a “battle” or “awkward run-in.”

The fact that there was no “battle” or “awkward run-in”?

Not important to HollywoodLife.

Somehow, the blog is getting worse and worse, and we didn’t think it was possible.

A production source tells Gossip Cop there was no trouble between Gomez and Cyrus on the show, laughing off the HollywoodLife report.

The fact that tabloids like HollywoodLife making Fans go into war is bad enough.
