This hairstyle works best with hair-to-chest length, or with hair extensions.

Step 1. Wash your hair thoroughly then blowdry. Avoid brushing your hair while drying your hair but brush it before you dry it. If your hair is already clean you can skip this step.

Step 2. Heat a curling iron with a very large barrel (heated part), the bigger the better in this case. While this is heating spray your hair with heat protection spray.

Step 3. If you have thick hair, split your hair into sections, clipping them on top of your head leaving only one section unclipped.

Step 4. Take a smaller section from the unclipped section and, starting at the bottom, wrap your hair around the curling iron. Do the same with all of your hair.

Step 5. Next, take a brush and brush your hair thoroughly making the curls very loose.

Step 6. From the top of your ears, pull the top section of your hair back and, making sure it's neat, tie it with a hair tie. If you have bangs leave them down.

Step 7. If your bangs are curly, straighten them using a flat iron.

Step 8. If you think your hair will not stay wavy spray it with a light coat of hairspray.
