Step 1. Start out with clean skin. You should wash with a good cleanser, tone to make sure your skin is free of extra makeup/dirt, and then moisturize.

Step 2. Use a concealer to hide any blemishes such as red spots and blackheads, and also under eye darkness. You can skip this step if none of the previous apply to you.

Step 3. Apply a liquid foundation (Makeup Forever has a great HD foundation) that is closely matched to your skin (this is best applied with a make up sponge; some foundations require a brush). make sure to also apply some to your eyelid- the skin there is so thin that pinkness and veins are often visible. Dust on some powder (best is any type of mineral make up like bare essentials) over the liquid foundation to avoid any kind of oil shine and so that the make up will last longer.

Step 4. Use a very light pink blush that almost matches your skin color. Don't apply too much since for this look you want to look very natural.

Step 5. Apply nude colored eyeshadow to your lid and crease, then use a white highlighter or white eyeshadow on your brow bone. Blend well.

Step 6. Line your upper lash line with black eye pencil and make a thin line, making it just a tiny bit thinker at the outside edges. Apply black eye pencil to your waterline (NOT your lash line- this will make it too dark).

Step 7. Apply one coat of black mascara to your top and bottom lashes.

Step 8. Use a muave lipstick that is a few shades darker than your skin tone. Coat with an optional light lipgloss.
